College of Charleston

The College of Charleston is a nationally recognized, public liberal arts and sciences university located in the heart of historic Charleston, South Carolina.

I am almost done with my first year at College of Charleston and absolutely love the campus! The oak trees, spanish moss, and the simple atmosphere is so relaxing. The location is also ideal for the students because the campus is right near King Street, Calhoun, and Marion's Square - a park where students love to layout, play frisbee, or just socialize! Every Saturday there is a farmer's market in Marion's Square, which is a great place to get food, browse, or just meet with some people.

Additionally, there are a lot of tourists attractions that also pull in college students. A fun place to go to is the South Carolina Aquarium, which is a fantastic place to view sealife and learn about the Coast's aquamarine life! The IMAX theater is right next to the aquarium which is also a great place to go to with friends. The simple location of the college is a great plus!
